You’d just say “I won a lion.” You can put that on the awards section of your resume and book.
Tbh, I wouldn’t just like….award-drop in conversation, unless you’re being specifically asked about it, like in an interview. It’s really only relevant in the context of discussing the work that got you the win.
Yeah I say it just like that. Everyone reading your resume and interviewing knows what it takes so they wouldn't assume you're the only one behind the win. Go ahead and flex when you can!
If your name is on the credits you won a Cannes Lion
you definitely don’t say “i’ve won a cannes”. the shorthand would be “I won a lion” but that also isn’t a great way to act in an interview. Say something that shows what the award means to you or how it changes your POV on work. like “I’m really focused on making the best work I can. And sometimes, it really breaks through and you win an award, like on X project i worked on for Y client.” or say something like “Sure, X project won a lion, but I’m also really proud of Z (something else in your book). it feels like i really got to put my own POV on the work” or like “we had almost zero budget but really got people talking about BRAND”
on your resume, make an awards sub section and enter awards like you would a university : Cannes (level) Lion - Clientname, Projectname, Year
in your portfolio, list awards on the project page and on your about me page
If you have to ask, you might be a slashie
