Would definitely avoid VS, they try to cram everyone into the sizing they offer because it is more cost effective for them. Bra size has a lot more to do with just underbust and overbust measure, also have to factor in shape, distance, etc. to find your best fit! I got fitted at Nordstrom and went from a VS 32B to a true 28D and now my bras fit seamlessly - no gaping or slipping straps. ABraThatFits on Reddit is also great if you really want all the detail
Nordstroms!

I think Nordstrom has the best selection and also the best people who are very well-trained who wait on you.
Soma is the next best - workers are very good but they just don’t have as large of a selection.
Can’t go wrong with either.
I love the look of VS bras but they do not work at all for me.
If you are on the bigger side I wouldn’t recommend VS
But they are good for getting your size right.
Worked at VS in college and we were all trained and could accurately size people. The issue was that we rarely if ever had cup sizes above DD or bands above a 38. Also, just generally feel like the quality has declined so much over the years there. Nordstrom is my go to for everyday brands, like Natori, and accurate sizing.
I really like Soma, feels like a more grown up, sophisticated version of VS that’s actually geared towards women and their comfort

VS told me I was a B cup when I was 16.. i am barely a B cup now at 25 lol

VS also sucks if you are large-busted. I fall out of their bras!
Nordstrom and Soma have been dependable for me.
