My company is not correctly integrated with our financial software and $0 has been coming out of my paycheck the whole year despite electing a contribution amount. They've been taking forever to fix it, not sure what to do now :(

What company is this? This is a huge red flag if they can’t even get a basic contribution (I assume 401k?) to come out properly. I’d be job hopping …

like

Contribution for what? 401k? If so is there a cap on what you can contribute each pay period? If not once it is fixed, just double the contribution percentage or whatever percentage you want to get to the right place.

Yes 401k contribution and I hope so it's been a month since I've asked them to fix this

Anyone try Legal Funnel? Thoughts? Worth the $10k?

I just left my pre-seed startup that was running out of cash (we made $100,000 in revenue this year, and sunk $1m in costs). I was making $40,000 as a developer (plus 20k stock options at $1/share per year) and they refused to pay me any more money. I have 17,000 vested stock options, total number of shares at the time of my contract was 4million. I’m a bit confused about share dilution and if it’s worth it for me to buy some of my stock options… thanks in adv!

However I found something this month that will cut costs by 30%. How do I go about finding someone to sublease my place?

Can someone point me to some material where I can read about profit sharing vs 401k. I get the concept, but I am trying to understand is 10% profit sharing vested over 5 years better than an employee 401k match of 6%?

From my understanding 10% PS is better because it’s just a standard 10% on top of whatever I contribute though it takes 5 years to vest. Does this mean if I leave before 5 years I don’t get any of it?
