Which biglaw/midlaw firms in the area have the best reputation for culture and work/life balance? Any to avoid?

How are Ogilvy and McGarry Bowen these days, creative wise, client retention, good “place” to work, work-life balance, etc.?

State of Ohio:
Anyone have experience with Dept of Public Safety? Are they disorganized? Do they have a bad culture? I am starting to think they suck based on my application experience with them , compared to other state agencies.

Any recommendations on getting into wine? I love other specialty beverages (3rd wave coffee, craft beer), but struggle to “figure out” wine.

The ability to get involved with local beer and coffee producers has been a huge factor for me, so I’m guessing the comparative lack of local wine producers has contributed to me struggling to understand more of the process, culture, tasting notes, etc.

Struggling with a decision. Just started a new role with good manager and WLB within healthcare technology. But another large tech firm/cloud/software reached out and willing to pay 20% more. Not sure what the WLF is for this other role. Should I take the better paying role?

I'm currently Working at ntt data business solutions. I'm quite underpaid with about 57k goal salary. - 52k fix and 5k Bonus. With 3years expierence in sap consulting mm/ sd 5 years as a key User in a DAX Company and a M.Sc. in IT Mamagement.

Capgemini has verbally promised me 9 LPA but the offer is yet to be released.
Deloitte India has not yet communicated any offer, neither verbal nor formal.

I am more inclined towards joining Deloitte India as it is a bigger position than Capgemini.

I interviewed with capgemini for SAP ABAP role and my YOE is 4 years. Just 2 hours after my interview, I got a call from someone at Capgemini saying that I am selected.
They just asked my notice period and current location.I asked them, what is the next round going to be and they said that it is going to be salary discussion. But till now, no one has reached out to me.
Does it mean they got another candidate for same job?
If they get back to me, how much should I ask?

I hold an offer of 18LPA from KPMG with joining date of 7th September. (Wfh)
I applied at Workday on 15th May and went through 7 technical rounds of interview and received a verbal offer letter of 21LPA (hybrid)
Now apparently their technical panel "forgot" about the interview and wants to have a discussion again as 8th technical interview. HR says their joining date will be 19th September.

Does anyone know why so many Cuyahoga County Common Pleas judges require so much extra stuff with motions for default judgment? Some require an affidavit about service when it's right on the docket. Others require a letter sent with a notice of the hearing, when the clerk clearly does that. I have practiced in multiple other counties small and large and none of them have these.

Any advice for monitoring employees while working from home? Our phone system works from an app in our cells and we have remote access to our files and computers.
