Business as usual, unfortunately. Our useless HR dept is still saying we are evaluating whether WFH can be done. I'm to the point where I may start breaking things around the office if WFH doesn't happen soon.
That’s terrible — is your firm still at full staff? Take care of yourself
We pretty much are. Some people who have old/young people at home or are immunocompromised are being allowed to wfh. To me, it's too little too late. I have zero faith in management now.
That's a shame. Everyone should be home now unless you have a legit excuse.
I work for a satellite of a larger firm but we've been WFH for 2 weeks already with next week still to go and likely to get extended. They won't even let anyone go in to get the mail. They have had to do cutbacks and just announced a large furlough.
Also my boyfriend works for a plaintiff firm. They are doing atty WFH with the staff on staggered shifts.
Anyone still going into the office at this point? Would they retaliate if you got up and left? I’ve been wfh for a couple weeks. Very concerned about infecting my parents and trying to keep myself healthy for their sake.
wfh as much as possible
