Hello Fishers, need your help to finalize my decision.
I have 5 YOE and I have done a full-time MBA. I am currently working with one of the product organizations as a business analyst. TIAA offering 17 LPA Fixed (Including PF) against 1 counter offer I had of 15.6 LPA Fixed.
My CCTC is 9.35 LPA so should I ask for more here? Also, how are work culture and policies considering I will be part of the BA profile?

McK is the strongest in legacy oil and gas, but BCG has been growing quickly in that PA. Bain is probably the weakest of the MBBs.
Outside of MBB, there are a ton of specialist firms that focus exclusively on energy, woodmac probably being the largest / strongest of that group
Big differences across topics and regions. McK and BCG have more scale so broader reach obviously. McK has most IP / perspectives. In terms of customers and capabilities in clean energy, I don’t see any big differences.
In terms of specialists, DNV is by far the strongest on technology and markets, WoodMac or BNEF on analysis and data. Not aware of any large specialised mgmt consulting firms .

Where did you end up, AP1?
Sorry, I should have specified that within Energy, I'm interested in energy transition, carbon capture, transmission, and renewables Strategy work. Thanks for the responses so far. What's the reputation of Accenture's Net Zero team?
Quite broad - company transformation (e.g oil majors), M&A screening & diligence in the clean energy space, very strong in offshore wind, so a lot of strategy, operating model and performance improvement in that space. National clean energy strategies. Carbon management / CCUS for oil majors/industrials.
So basically a lot of the same as our colleagues in MB. We certainly work with our fair share of the leading players. But naturally because of scale as well as some historic reasons, we have a more focused portfolio on the general strategy work (fewer clients and topics), and also publish less IP. On the other hand, we have the upper hand in private equity / M&A.
Charles River Associates and Brattle are two on the Econ side with strong Energy PAs.
