Hey fishes, completed 3 tech rounds at Bosch.
Last tech + managerial round was on 10th Nov. Got HR call on 17th Nov. Told my expected package and she didn't seem to have any issue. On 22nd Nov, got a call from the consultant at taggd who has been arranging all my interviews. Told my expected CTC and she seemed a bit surprised but didn't negotiate and asked if I have any other offers? I asked when can I expected the OL, she said within a week but didn't take any documents. Can I expect the OL?

Anyone got H1B interview appointment? I am still waiting for the HR to confirm that I can go ahead and take an appointment. What is the process , why to still keep on waiting when I can see the appointments are available now.

Should I expect any specific questions during an introduction call with a recruiter? I have a call setup with a BSG recruiter and just wondering if I should prepare for any interview type questions?

I am a technical recruiter with three years of experience. I am currently interviewing at a series B tech start up located in CA for a fully remote position. I am currently in Texas and don’t have to pay state income taxes. I am making about 90 K and would love to bump up my salary from there. My question is, what is a fair salary to ask for that will factor in both the new income tax and a raise? My other question is what is a fair salary in general for somebody with three years experience?

Does anyone have an idea on what salary should be expected when applying to a major biotech company (GSK, Novartis, J&J, AbbVie etc...) as an entry level (3 years experience) Pharmacology & Toxicology master degree with an emphasis in Drug Discovery and Development with technical expertise in electrophysiology/neuroscience domain (several published papers on sodium channels) ?

One of the company asked if i could join as early as in 1.5/2 months where I have 3 months NP and haven't put papers yet .. i asked one of my senior in my team about this who's already resigning...and she has told about this to the entire team 😶. I realise it's my mistake asking her :p

Had a first round interview scheduled for a large CPG brand. My interviewer never called me, and I emailed following up to confirm the call. It’s been over a day and no response. What is going on with recruiters? I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, but not even an email back saying “something came up” or “we’ve moved on” ? I just came home sobbing because I got too drunk at my female best friends house and her husbands male friend tried to take advantage of me when we were left alone in a hot tub. My boyfriend didn’t ask if I was okay but instead screamed at me, threw things and left the house. Dumping him is the only logical answer?? Am I crazy?

I am generally uncomfortable when I’m around my mother-in-law’s husband.

While he is overall a decent guy, his anger issues, yelling at his wife for the slightest issue, and insulting nature makes me uncomfortable and triggers my own anger due to his blatant disrespect for just about everyone around him.

My mother-in-law says he’s worked on things, but it’s been 10 years of this and I’m not sure I want such behavior around my wife and our kids since we’re trying to conceive soon (cont).
