While fixing my cup of sea salted caramel coffee, i started thinking about the quote on my cup. Honestly, if I really believe this quote, would I change the way I teach and interact with my students, or do I believe I would continue with the strategies I use? What about you, would you change anything or keep it the same?

I think this is given with teachers. Personally, I set my mission and vision as a teacher when I started in this profession.

Oh, so true. I love it when my students reach back out to me for advice or just a simple thanks. Just recently one of my former students just sent me a photo of his 11 year old son, who made a puppet (puppetry is my side passion, and all my students know about my love for puppetry)

OP first of all I think I need to know how you made this cup of coffee because it looks divine. I really do love your mug as well and I think it is very true. I still have students to this day that come find me years after I teach them to tell me about the difference I made in their lives. And I think about a teacher who changed my life and who always believed in me. The impact is far more reaching then we even realize.

Awww, my coffee. When I'm at home I drink it hot. I brew a pot every 3-4 days. I pour about 6-8 Oz, stir in my Genpro unflavored protein, and stir in a bit of seasalted SF Caramel and Half & Half, Top it with a bit of Caramel cold foam, a shot of Whipped topping, and drizzle of Ghirardelli seas although Caramel. Deliriousness!!! If I'm taking it with me to school, I put it all over crushed ice in my Yeti or Buc-ee cup

I have had students write to me, or tell me in person, about the difference I have made to them. I'm always aware of that and try to be the best person I can be. You never know what difference you might make.

Oh, so true. I guess that is why we carry on - whether it is a good day or a bad day

You know you've influenced a student in a positive way, when they come back and tell you that because of you they are....
