Hi Team,
I gave and cleared all the rounds for TCS. Post that they asked me to update my documents on their portal, which i did last week.
But till now i am yet to receive the offer letter from their side.
Can someone guide me on this?? Is it normal to take this much of time? Tata Consultancy

I’d say 95% of us just ignore them
It depends. If it’s a role that actually could be a good fit, I forward the email to my personal account and respond from that after work hours. If the job is completely unrelated to my background, I ignore.

I only reply to LinkedIn messages generally and even then it’s just a “thanks for reaching out, I’m not looking right now but feel free to send me relevant positions you come across.” I get a dopamine rush from recruiter emails or calls to my office though.
I take an unpopular approach and generally respond to most recruiters. Because I do that and am pretty vocal about doing so it’s not a big deal when I do talk to a recruiter. While I’m always on the lookout for a good opportunity, I really respond in the event someone I know may be a good fit and/or interested so I can pass it along. I have several clients that used to be associates where I passed along a lead in a lateral job or in house position.
I almost always reply to recruiters. The exception is when they reach out with a role that is absolutely unsuitable for me. I ignore those. Now legal tech inquiries (contract management software, discovery vendors, etc) I just ignore 90% of the time.
If it’a a personalized message (not just “use our services”) I forward it to my personal email and reply from there. Even if it’s just to say thanks but not right now. I once worked at a small firm that closed with very little notice (to me, anyway) and left me scrambling for another job, and that experience definitely taught me it’s never bad to be friendly with recruiters.
