Probably most widely known are cp+b, Integer Group, Karsh Hagan, Cactus, TDA Boulder. Cp+b and integer have slipped recently where small and medium sized agencies have started to gain more traction, like Madwell, Mondo Robot and Monigle. I hear rumblings in Denver that people are itching for good client-side opportunities, too, like other major market agency folk.
Very interested in other opinions on this thread.
I think Denver has an issue growing beyond mid sized agencies because the clients are limited. Lots of agencies swarming around the same clients. There was a time when smashburger went through like 5 agencies in as many years, it was in everyone in town’s book.
Pretty much what PMD said. I recently moved to the area, and found out it’s surprisingly sparse. There’s certainly talent and (mid size) client potential, but not many big name agencies out here at the moment. Could be due to a lack of large ad-oriented company headquarters.
Curious to see if I’ll regret putting my chips in this basket, but considering the tech momentum this place seems to have at the moment, I think it’ll pay off eventually.
