This question is quite broad and subjective but would love to hear some thoughts. For a couple with family income of about 60 LPA in India, is it wise to move to Canada/UK via the PR route? I have seen no matter how much experience you have, it's usually about building up from scratch.

Hey DFW, TX folks. We're going through comp and merit raises, I suspect you all are too. This is the first year we're using pay ranges from payscale. I am completely surprised of how low compensation is in TX. For any of you that have visibility to pay ranges what is your experience with pay ranges for your company?

I started my new job completely remotely in June and when we go back to the office, it would be a 1.2 hour, 40-mile one way commute.. Would it be entitled of me to ask to come into the office 3x/week since by the time that we return to the office, I’ve already proven that I can work efficiently from home? I feel like it’s a much more sustainable option.

Any other first year associates feel like their firms don’t really appreciate how much COVID/WFH has stunted their development? LinkedIn is a garbage app where I can’t even post my opinion or experience because it will go against the mainstream ideologies. If I even “like” a post then I worry that my peers and managers see what I like and suddenly I need inclusivity training. What a load of shit! You can’t be who you truly are on that app. Which is why I like fishbowl so much, the anonymity is a game changer. If LinkedIn was a anonymous, we’d see a lot more support for Kanye and a lot less LGBQT material. Bet!
