Why are people so focused on doing things quickly that they end up doing them wrong? Just take your time and do it right the first time. This will always bother me when I have to correct someone else's work because they didn't take the time or consideration to do it right but they got it done in no time.

I have an H1b which I received in 2019 and was valid till august2021, due to covid I wasn't able to travel and then I switched to another firm last year in November. If I get visa transfer, will it provide me a validity back as I haven't used any on site time on that visa.

Been working as an Assistant Technician for 3 years (2 years excluding pandemic) pay is £21k now £22 adjusted for inflation. I will be completing my Part 1 in architecture but also have a degree in Technology, should I find a different company after graduation or take roles offering £30-45k as an Architectural Technologist/Technician.

I’m curious to know if anyone has experience working part-time in architecture? I have been working for large international firms in NYC for the past 10 years. So I work all day every day. My evenings and often the weekends are all absorbed by work duties. Working part-time would allow me to find a better balance, and carve out space for side gigs and eventually start my own firm. Any recommendations?
