I agree that it’s this. They had no other path. They had to be insanely tough and driven and unrelenting.
I find millennial women partners are actually awesome. Like super smart and super friendly and super kind. So I do think the tide is turning.

I want to flag that you’ve experience an adverse employment action—the denial of your raise/some bonus—and so it’s a prime time to talk to a plaintiff side employment attorney about your options.

My understanding is that going to HR is of limited value, and can backfire — because they are not impartial and instead work for your boss.
I advise consulting with the plaintiffs’ employment attorney *before* you file any complaints, including with HR. The attorney can even give you a script of what to say. You will then need to monitor for retaliation.
Your initial call to the attorney should be free, and then you can retain them on an hourly basis. Even if you spend about $2000-3000 on the attorney, you should be able to recoup that cost through a longer tenure at this job, should you want to stay, or your severance packet.
Because of the imbalance in power and knowledge between you and your employer, filing complaints and negotiating a severance should be done with expert help.

It seems she was looking for any reason she could, to not have to pay you. Whether it’s bc she can’t afford it, or bc she’s just a c*nt, rest reassured that it’s not you 🤍 jealousy/envy can cause women to act soooooo uglyyy, not realizing that that type of low vibration keeps them vibrating low.
