How realistic is it to land an AD position as a fresh grad (with a doctorates) and a handful of pharma & FDA interships? I'll have over a year of (consistent) work experience at a large pharma company and I have prior leadership/mgt experience in a gov't position prior to changing career paths and pursuing my doctorates. Pretty sure it's a discovery role too.

I just finished my PhD at a very good uni with 3 years technician experience before that. BSc and MSc also at very good unis with good grades.

Just had a series of interviews started in September and finally ended in November last week only to be told that suddenly I'm not a great fit for the job. Recruiter had called sometime in October and told me that I was a top candidate for the job and though they couldn't tell me to stop considering taking interviews with other companies they felt I was an almost lock for the job. Lesson learnt stay Strictly transactional until you sign the final contract👌
