Why do companies wait until after someone leaves to sing their praises? I watched a colleague get pushed out with no support, constant nitpicks, completely overlooked. Then on their last day, suddenly it was all “we’re going to miss your leadership and talent.” They weren’t even invited to their own goodbye lunch until I brought it up! If you really valued us, we’d still be here. Why is recognition only offered once we’re out the door?

10 years in the company where I started, working my way up from jr. analyst to present Manager M2 - Market and Tech Insights (5 levels), handling 2 major global tech/consulting clients. Next level is Sr. Manager.

Is there a significant difference in total comp potential between ops and investments roles? Not sure how to make a case to break into investments with minimal DD experience, so thinking about Ops recruitment (Associate).
