Yes. All the time. It’s been like this for years for me across multiple companies.

You are not alone! It’s probably something many of us worry about, and it’s okay to feel that way. I tend to focus on what I can control such as building new skills or exploring opportunities (external or internal) and let go of the things I can’t.
That just seems to be part of modern life. Companies are constantly churning their workforce, trying to reconfigure to meet some changing need or other. So people are let go and other people brought on. It's really impossible to feel secure in any position these days.
I think a lot of people are feeling that way right now because so many big companies are undergoing restructuring right now. Not to mention the economy is so bad that companies are having to close their doors and lay people off every day.
