Tiger Analytics has started firing their new joineers(freshers) as they don't have adequate projects. I don't know where the freshers will go as they haven't done any project as such.

This is just pathetic from organization. They are just firing people owing to failing a test of certification, for which other company gives 3 trials but they are giving only one try with negative markings

Is the way to train managers changing? I’m familiar with a cohort model where a group of new managers meet in person, and then go through some classes together over a period of 2-6 months. Is there a better or new model that people are using?

Happy to have just received my promotion to senior manager after a very challenging year, backed by an even more challenging year prior.
I've got my own beliefs what a senior manager does, or should do. I'm keen to hear transition challenges others have gone through when becoming a senior manager.

Had only one call with my TL in first two months. Few weeks later, on workday I noticed that my TL got reassigned. Contacted him and have setup regular catch-ups. He dropped a bomb that he is leaving and I will be reporting to partner. Partner is time poor and no feedback is offered. This is my first consulting role and I feel I am not receiving enough support. Few people are helping to learn the ropes but WFH has exacerbating the problem. How do I get a TL to receive pointed feedback? PwC
