Even though I solved several of the client's problems, he was still not satisfied and informed my supervisor. I couldn't keep quiet any longer.

I haven't had it yet, maybe I have too much patience to deal with difficult customers.

I didn't have a big explosive moment of anything like that. I noticed I wasn't acting like the person I usually was towards friends, family, and even strangers. I made some changes, namely my job, and I'm much better for it

I still work in the industry, but I had a coworker who after being on a call with a client for about two hours, said: "Don't worry sir, I'll see myself out". He picked up his stuff and left. We never found out what the customer said to him or what the problem was.

My temp contract has been extended. I’m relieved to be able to pay the bills, but after giving 70-80 shots a day, I literally dream about giving vaccines almost every night! After you are stealth laid off, other than job search, what do you do? I assume they won’t give you work and even if they do, you can politely decline? Anyone have any idea when the hiring freeze might end within AWS ProServ? I’m currently at Amazon and have a TS clearance, PMP & CSM. I come from a Big4 consulting firm with a background in Enterprise Performance. I’ll be honest and say I’m not feeling very safe in my current role with the ongoing layoffs. Instead of leaving, I’d love to go back to my “consulting roots” and join the ProServ team. I’m taking my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam next weekend. Hoping this freeze is lifted soon.
