I bet you’re one of the ones that they coddled into making RTO look like the best thing since sliced bread. No one wants to come into the office unless they have to.
I wouldn’t say no one — I know people in office every day even though there’s no mandate to do so. Not everyone wants to stay in their bed 16 hours a day.
In theory, yeah. In reality, no. Fairness does not matter at work. It's classic "rules for thee, not for me" at play. Either learn to put up with it or start applying.
You want people to spend time listening to someone complaining about life is not fair, is that what you’re asking?

I would just worry about yourself. If it’s mandate and people aren’t following the rules then maybe there will be consequences. In my company, they track it based on if you badge in office or not and if an employee doesn’t meet the min amount required, they will get a bad annual review rating.
Depends on how you think your manager will take it if you bring it up. If you know it’s not going to go well, then I’d just worry about myself and keep quiet
