I have an offer to a commercial real estate company in hand. My current brokerage (residential focus) wants me to pay $3000 penalty since I’m breaking the contract and leaving. I’m financially struggling and 3k is a big number to pay now. The new job will be paying me $2000/month up until the first year only. Is it wise to pay or stick around in residential sales just to avoid that penalty?

Hi! I've spent the last year trying to break into UX research and/or a Jr design role. I have 10 YOE in DTC Customer Support / Experience management. I am certified in UX Design by General Assembly. Hi everyone. I got job offers at both GSK and Astrazeneca in the UK. Both are senior scientist positions. The one at GSK is on method development of biologics and the one in AZ is on formulation development of biologics. The base salary+bonus of AZ is about 15% higher than GSK.

So, here it is. I was having joining on last week October as a senior analyst data science in Tiger Analytics. Today I got an call from HR that due to economic recession we are going to delay your date of joining by 2 months. My notice period was of 3 months. So total duration would be 5 months. Infact even after that too they didn't send me revised offer letter. There is something wrong with this company.
