With all the uncertainty, I’m thinking of leaving government contracting for the new few years, despite me only being in this industry <2 years, and revisiting when this administration ends. I’m exploring getting into tech sales or customer success…very different than consulting, but there are some transferable skills. Has anyone went from public sector consulting to tech sales (ideally selling to government) and/or customer success?

How do you guys feel about the Pride Team at ZS India? Ive always felt they pretty much just copy what the US team does, even though the condition of LGBT rights here is so different from what it is in the US. I've been searching for a new job because I know I am underpaid. I have 12+ years of experience in the event industry and seven years in the Event Tech world. I interviewed with Netflix, Amazon, and Microsoft. I went through all the stages, but I was not selected. Any advice? I think I did great in all my interviews; my resume is solid, and I have four university degrees including a Master’s. I speak English and Spanish. Any advice of what my problem might be?

Sometimes the leadership does not even inform you on the status of a submitted proposal unless we win the work. I get why they are doing it but it would be great if there was an external source/website that would share this info instead of us waiting around to hear from them.

Hello everyone. I will be transitioning from the Navy soon and want to work in the cybersecurity field. I have an active secret clearance, BS in strategic intelligence, working on a masters in cybersecurity, and taking Security+ in December. No work experience in cyber, just my education and bootcamp course for Security+. Should I still apply for job that want 2-5+ years cyber experience and/or an active TS clearance?

hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? My target promotion year on TOD is 2022. My manager said we might sell to client and extend this project in September but nothing guaranteed.
