Had my virtual on-site for an S&O L3 role 3.5 weeks ago (NYC, 5 YOE). I haven’t heard back on a decision yet, and was wondering how long it typically takes? I also know that I was one of the very first candidates to interview for this specific role, and there are atleast 2 more people scheduled for onsites. Does the recruiter typically wait for all candidates to finish their onsites before communicating a decision? Or if I haven’t heard back yet, it’s probably a reject?

How hard MBB interviews actually are? From 1 to 10 being hardest. How would you rate it?

The most frustrating thing about getting rejected for a job is the excuse they use which gives zero insight into what it really was.

During my interview for a Senior role they asked what I felt was important in my role as an assurance senior. One of the things I said is I felt coaching was an important part of my role and gave my reasons. Their excuse for not giving me the role was because the company wasn't big enough and they didn't have anyone for me to coach.

I had a second interview with a company on 9/21 and hadn’t heard back from them in a week so I sent a follow up email to the recruiter I had been in contact with on 9/30. I still haven’t heard back from the company but Workday still says I’m “Under Consideration”. Should I send a second follow up or wait it out?

I wonder, why everyone is not applying for FAANG and they’re happy with startups or other companies? (Not talking about who are not able to clear the interviews )
