Can anyone who has taken a career sabbatical to travel/explore other interests share their experience with both leaving their jobs and returning to the legal field?
I really want to live in Asia for a year at least before I have to settle down and start a family. I’m not getting younger but don’t want to be reckless with my career.

It's been a tough year. Have any auditors out there negotiated their salaries upwards? If so, what did you say, and how was it received? I am newly promoted and wondering if that is a good move or not.

Just finishing my first week in as an audit intern and genuinely I have no idea what I'm doing or even a general idea of the audit process. The senior associate left the engagement last week so it's just me and an associate, and they don't have time to give me instruction.
