Working at New York State Parks as a seasonal worker is a bad deal. No sick days (management expects you to work when sick), no vacation days, work on holidays, work on weekends, forced overtime (I worked 30 out of 36 hours over July 4-5), and very low pay (take home pay is $1270 biweekly). No health care.
Management is controlling, coercive, and occasionally abusive.
Genuinely it's been so disappointing being treated so poorly working to serve the public. Awful Park management.
