"Ever noticed that the people who need the most support seem to get the least of it?" This is America in a nutshell, both at work and in general. It's really sad. I'm grateful for people like you who try to make things a little easier for them.
What you're saying is very true, a lot of times extra fees are practically designed to punish people who are already being punished. Somebody said "it costs more to be poor," and that's so true. I remember once I had a payment hit my account before I expected it and my account was overdrawn and I got hit with a late fee that I think was $39. I called up the bank and complained but the person I talked to said there was nothing they could do.

So true. I had an account with BofA and they charged me fee after fee when I overdrafted my account, instead of declining the transactions. Made no sense to me. Each fee was more than the transaction. I paid it off and closed the account. Never ever opened again and I always advised others about them. As for work, the result of not taking care of those who need help the most, which tend to be your strongest people, is that you eventually lose them.

I’ve noticed that too. It’s strange how the system often rewards those who are already doing well while the people who need help the most get hit hardest. It really makes you think.
