Not logistics (although I have done that before), but retail, and the burnout is just as real. Sounds like you are doing the right things for yourself. Everyone says delegate, and that is an important lesson, but you also need to empower people to make smart decisions. Can you do that in your industry? I really question if it is possible, especially as it sounds like you are the only person able to make some of those decisions.
One important thing we used to say is "Don't let the urgent get in the way of the important". Especially when someone else's urgent isn't the same as your urgent.

You nailed it. Delegating isn’t just handing off tasks—it’s about trusting people to make smart calls, which isn’t always easy, especially if you’re the gatekeeper for key decisions. That saying is gold—keeping sight of what really matters instead of getting sucked into everyone else’s urgent fire drills is a skill I’m still working on.

Absolutely! Logistics really does feel like a 24/7 grind. But you definitely did the right thing by setting boundaries. No job should drain you to the point where it affects your well-being. Knowing when to draw the line is a strength, not a weakness.
You are heading to the right path, unless you are paid as on call or salary for 24-7 you have to draw that line. Let them know how to get a hold of you if it's a true emergency but you need to have time for yourself.
