When I start feeling that way I just take that as a sign to lateral but honestly, after a while I think I’m just generally unhappy and staying for the paycheck. Lol

Visceral reaction means you’re done IMO. It’s time to find something new, from a position of strength. Don’t hang around until it impacts your performance.
This is too hard to answer without knowing the why. Is it too much work and you’re burnt out? Colleagues who are difficult or not team players or another culture issue? The commute? The type of work you’re doing? To help give targeted advice, I would need more information. I’m in AMLAW 50 and I can tell you lateraling is not for the faint for heart but absolutely makes sense for many people and under many circumstances.
That's not imposter syndrome, that's a natural reaction to a very high stress environment. Try to master how you respond to and experience stress-- that's very hard and takes time, but I think required for longevity. Or don't and go do something that doesn't make you want to throw up when you think about it (-:
