It all depends on your lifestyle.
I've got two kids. Daycare and a mortgage (good sized house and good schools) are a huge expense. I could obviously make it work with less, but that's also a stressor.
64% more money is probably worth the stress for most people; its a no brainer for me.

110k and chill. I’m so over working.

It depends… is the $180K role really that stressful or is it just demanding? Personally, I have ADHD… so I wouldn’t last in a chill job… I need to be constantly challenged and thinking to make the day pass… and to me doing remedial tasks just for the sake of it isn’t my style…
But I agree with D1… a 63% pay gap would make sense for most people… that could be the difference between a two income household and making one income work, or vice versa… but if your young and don’t care, can afford the flexibility, or if your towards the end of your career, I get it… if it doesn’t matter, then great…
I think it depends on your lifestyle and what your partner makes if you have one. For me, I’m happy with $110k that comes with work life balance and fewer responsibilities, but if my husband didn’t work then I would be more inclined to push for the $180k one at least for a couple years
Yeah, depends. How stressful? Like busy but manageable, or is this a situation where you kiss your family life and social life goodbye, working 18 hour days every day just to get through the mountain of work?
I am always looking for more money (I have a wife, school fees, a big mortgage) - but there have been jobs my wife has said she would divorce me if I took them, as I would no longer be able to share parenting and domestic responsibilities.
I would definitey take the 110k role that is more chill. I am with Financial Advisor 2. I am over working and I don't want to continue to hustle and grind.
