Once I hit 220 or so, I start to wear down.
In my litigation practice it was like 220/225+. Now doing more counseling/advisory work which entails switching between a ton of matters every day, and it’s more like 170. Or maybe I’m just burnt out..
For me it’s deff more of a weekly thing. Over about 50 is (especially multiple weeks in a row) and It’s weighing me down. More than 215/220 and I’m reallly feeling it with lots of weekend work.

In commercial lit and anything over 200 kills me. If I'm doing a ton of simple doc review (e.g., just responsiveness or privilege) I might bump that up to 225-230 before I'm burnt out.

170 - I always have at least 10-15 non billable hours so like 180/185 total. Idk how people consistently do 200 hours
In a regulatory practice where I do a lot of advisory work, and anything above about 175/180 is a lot

160, so I am going to be kicked out
180 is the most I can do without needless wear and tear.

I find 250 to be the upper limit of manageable. Anything above gets exponentially harder to deal with.
200 hurts, anything above 220 and I start browsing linkedin before bed (west coast corporate)
