Let’s propose options for the bowl picture!

Hi fishes,
I’m a fresher and have recently completed my internship as an Operations manager at Amazon. I am currently looking for FT opportunities. I came across and opening at Maersk for the role of Business Analyst. Could anyone refer me for the role or maybe point me to a suitable opportunity?
thanks!

I would absolutely, caveat: my oldest has two years left in high school, and we would do a LD commute of some sort - with a small apartment in the new job city
I'd be willing to relocate, but only if it was to some someplace where I'd really want to live. And, I should add, if was someplace where my standard of living would be at least as good as what I have now. There are places I'd like to live, but I don't want to be broke doing it, if that makes sense. If a situation came along where it would mean a good career move, I might be tempted, but there would be places I just wouldn't consider.
No, I don’t think I would at this point. Kids and family are all close and I couldn’t really think of an opportunity that would arise to push me to move away and uproot everyone.
I would for the right amount of money. Right now, that would be at least a 30% salary increases. I like where I'm living and enjoy my job, but I'm not tied to either by any means. I keep an open mind whenever I'm looking for jobs.
If your are eating a living in digital marketing, how did you get into that career? Got a marketing degree or pivoted from another job? Would love to hear some of your journeys.
Yes, if I received a decent enough offer, I would definitely be willing to move. I’m single and don’t have kids so it’s easy for me to do so. I guess the biggest factor would be where I was relocating to, and if the salary was worth it. Like I don’t want to go live in Florida. But if it was a bigger fun city like Denver or Chicago up for it.

This is such a personal decision. I’ve realized I value proximity to family and the feeling of home more than title or salary. But if you’re someone who thrives on adventure, new environments, and fast-track growth, relocation can absolutely be the right move. It really depends on what you need most in this season of your life.

I did. They paid for everything. I got laid off two years later- two weeks after closing on a new home. 10 years and 4 jobs later, I still have my house. I survived.

No. There were setbacks. I worked at agencies most of my career. I was in my 40’s and agism is real in adland. I transitioned to in-house and eventually UX design. I’m thriving now, once I found a place that valued experience.
