You know those times at work where you just stop and think about what you're really doing with life? And then realize that you don't get paid nearly enough to be present at your job almost all day? I just had 4 of those moments this week, and I'm assuming this is when you start to look for another job... or another career. Do you have these or are you happy with your comp?

Absolutely not happy with my comp but I also can't think of another career I could do well in. So staying here for now.

I don't think anyone is happy with their comp. And while I'm not overjoyed with my job, I'm grateful to have it. There are people in far worse situations than I'm in, so I don't really feel sorry for myself. When things start to turn around I'd like to find a better job, but the current job market doesn't seem like a good time for that.

Definitely not happy with my comp. But I changed industries two years ago, and think about how much better I am, even if the money sucks.

It's such a hard call, especially right now.

I don’t think we are paid enough for the work that we go for these companies we work for. I believe entrepreneurship is the only way we will feel satisfied. But even then.. a lot of people are not meant to be entrepreneurial.

I definitely have these days. I'm trying to just shuffle past it because what am I going to do otherwise...

Oh yeah! I have these moments all the time. I just thought these thoughts and realizations were part of working in retail ha ha ha ha ha.
