ZS should just get done with the CO(layoffs) in a single phase like other companies instead of stretching it for weeks and months.

It is creating a lot of anxiety and stress for the employees and the lack of transparency on the basis for CO is definitely not helping

we thought it was performance based and mostly for new hires but with recently promoted people and people with good reviews getting fired that doesn't seem to be the case

Any rationale behind ZS stretching it for so long?

How does a person determine the root of their burnout? I feel like I’m in a cycle of it where spring busy season kills me, then I get back to normal just in time for fall busy season, recharge after then we’re to Jan 1 again and back in the thick of it. The partner I work under approached me about it today...said I do great work, but she can tell I’m unengaged and unhappy. She wants to help me make things work but idk how to even determine what needs to change.

I’m a solar electrician at sunrun. I focus mainly on energy storage systems such as Tesla batteries. Currently making 93k a year with Lots of OT that push me into 150k a year. High stress job and high reward. At 31, I feel I could keep up with the long hours but I know eventually it will have to stop as it’s not sustainable long term.
