UBS all the way
Worked at both. PNC is the safer bet with the lower ceiling. UBS is going to be eat what you kill unless you are partnering with a team.
Neither. Go independent so you are not shackled and can be in a position to give the best advice to clients.
What’s the position? Are you just trying to decide from being in a bank vs workhouse or is the pnc position outside of a bank?
Both centralized financial Advisor roles. Simply comparing cultures, size, scope, and atmosphere at regional Bank vs global investment firm
Pnc eats alot of commission that they don't tell you about ask both for a commission sheet on all products the grid is only part of the story also ask them to give you a deep dive of the books
I’m at PNC now in the branches. It’s been an enjoyable company to work for. While the commission may not compare to B/D like UBS or EJ, stress is relatively low especially if you’re centralized. I assume you are walking into a book or bringing one?
