Hi Fishes,
I am currently working world's largest beer company. I have current CTC of 25 LPA and I am expecting hike of 10% at least within the company.
I got interviewed at Pepsi Co for Lead -2 position and have cleared all the rounds. How much can I expect, I have just asked 30% on current CTC.
Please do let me know as it will be very helpful. Do they provide relocation allowance, do i need to submit any documents for them. Also, do they offer any joining bonus?

How is the work life balance in Citi?
Here is the scenario: Have 2 offers from IT MNCs and 1 from Citi. Citi's offer is the highest. Almost 5 lakhs diff in the fixed component. Although money is important, but I am also seeking a little balance with life. I was previously in ZS Associates and to be frank, life was hell. I am not looking to relive that phase again.

Well, it’s Covid, so anyone would understand.
In normal times I think there’s more of a stigma but with COVID creating so much chaos I don’t think there’s any stigma. Especially if you can articulate new skills you have been learning with online courses you should be good.
SPM1, well if a prospective employer just sees that your presently unemployed they don’t necessarily know if your were impacted by lay-off versus being fired for performance reasons. Sometimes if they are just glancing at resumes before talking to candidates they sadly might skip over without taking time to learn the story.
Agree there’s not anything wrong with it given current environment.
Fill your time with things that can be “proven”. Courses are fine, but don’t mean much. Work towards a certification. Find a volunteer opportunity - if you’re technical, there are places that need your expertise!
But how does a future employer know you were laid off in June unless you mention it upfront? Does background checks say anything about it?
I think you’re doing the right thing OP. Places will verify employment dates during background check. If there’s big discrepancies there they could choose to rescind offer.
It’s 2020. Many of the stigmas for gaps in employment are null and void these days. I had 4-5 months unemployed due to military move. Surprisingly people were okay with it. I typically don’t disclose military because people don’t want to hire.
I say all this to say... don’t be hard on yourself. You’d be surprised how understanding people are these days. You’re going to be fine! ❤️
