Firms should provide at least some billable equivalent credit for vacation time. A vacation isn’t actually a vacation if you have to later make up the hours to ensure advancement and/or a bonus.

My company recently changed my commission plan by capping half of our variable payout, resulting in the sales reps making roughly 30% less on commission checks when going over quota. Obviously this has crushed spirits, and I’ve lost any motivation to crush quota. How do I stay motivated ? Or is it time to find a new job?

What will rebounding after COVID look like? How many times have you been laid off? I’m seeing a lot of people describe getting laid off 2 or 3 or even 4 times in their careers...should I just expect to get laid off every couple of years in advertising?
