Looking for the average PwC signing bonus offered for M1/Finance Consulting/Tier 2/experienced hire. I will lose around 20-30K non vested cash if I make the switch. I can use that as leverage but I am just curious
Assuming you are smart enough to do both (I know big assumption), are you better off being a SWE/data scientist at FAANG or equivalent level at MBB (based on YOE) from a compensation:WLB ratio?
Is 120k an acceptable salary for Dallas, Texas? I’m taking a pay cut to move there from San Francisco
Those who have switched firms recently: what signing bonus did you negotiate? And for what staff level?
3 YOE in tier 3/4 city, what Base comp can I expect from Accenture Technology? Role is at the consultant level.
So this might be a better place to post this and ask this question: Uncle D has announced explicitly that most people won’t get a pay raise & bonus this year except for those promoted and high performers. Amid this crisis, are companies including other big 3, MBB, FAANG, boutique consulting firms still giving high raises and issue stocks? Can you share the impact from your firm?
Does anyone have any suggestions for leveraging an earned-but-unpaid bonus at your existing employer to counter a job offer? My firm is among the biglaw firms that have announced special bonuses to be paid out later this year, and I have an in-house offer in hand.
Workday Financials Solution Architect salary at your firm? Trying to get an idea for negotiation
Best advice for negotiating the salary you want — when you’re hoping for 10K or a 10-15% jump from your last salary? Interviewing at a smaller shop but they have lots of business. Thanks for the advice! First timer with negotiations.
How do I dress like a McKinsey while on a Deloitte salary? Any cheap places to get a bunch of blazers? Willing to import.
Compensation Inquiry. Base and Bonus. How much does an Account Relationship aaenior Director at a Big Four? Can anyone share where they are at?
What is the salary range for a PwC Workday Financials Consultant - Financial Services at senior associate level? I have 4 YOE and a CPA. Looking at Raleigh NC.
Expected salary for BAH in DC coming straight out of undergrad? Ivy League, consulting internship experiences.
With the increase in PMO projects and long term transformation projects, decline in strategy work, limited consulting talent, and lower salary on par with banking: is consulting dead/fading out/no longer the most sought after industry?
Got below offer - Product Manager in Tech - 180k base, 10% bonus, 160k RSU (vested 4 years), Should I take this or wait to hear back from FAANG ? Thoughts?
I was due for a promotion but then covid hit, and during the peak of layoffs/furloughs, I was given the run-around that we have agency wide promotion freezes, etc. Over the past month, a handful of people have been promoted. I know everyone's situation is different but I can't help feeling snubbed. How do I know whether they are genuinely trying to promote me and can't, versus them stringing me along for as long as possible? I dont want it to come to having to bring another offer to the table..
Thoughts on exiting to a FAANG L6 Strategy role or waiting until July for my impending promotion to manager? Do we think I can push the start date out to August?
Hi All! I am trying to get out of consulting. I have applied for couple of positions at Microsoft and was wondering if anyone knows how long it takes to hear back from them and if selected what the interview process is?
Bf just tested positive for COVID and we’ve been more careful than 95% of people that I know 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ is 2020 over yet
Reviewing resumes and I see more and more frequent that people last one year or less at a job and move on to the next. Is that the new norm? I’m a millennial but my last job I was with for over 4 years. Can I ask in the interview why they’ve moved around so much? Or find a nicer way of asking that. I’m definitely looking for longevity not a hopper.
First year level 9 (consultant) expecting to hear about pay raise this Wednesday (will be minimal) I am leaving the firm and new offer wants me to start on 11/26, should I ask to start 12/4 so I can..
Was lucky to get a job shortly after being laid off. Work’s not hard but feeling burned out cause of bad process, meaningless jobs on top of the pointlessness of everything happening. How you coping?
Is Marriott doing this?
Anyone have first hand experience working at Ryan, LLC? Pay/Culture/Leadership/Diversity etc..
How do companies usually get over (get used to) transitioning from home grown systems to cloud-native and SaaS solutions? Losing control of systems and ongoing cost (licensing cost can go up anytime) seems to be major mental blockers for my client
How difficult is it to transition from an Expert to a Generalist track at Bain & Company at the pre-MBA level?
Single M. Burnt out with extreme work and a micromanaging boss. Taking a week of vacation for July 4th with no plans. Any travel ideas/suggestions for a solo traveler from TX? Flights/hotels can be covered with points to anywhere within US. So no constraints. Any group tour suggestions are welcome too
I love advertising, but only when I started doing it myself and not having to report to anyone but the client.
I got laid off in august and found a freelance gig a couple weeks later. If the freelance gig goes away will I qualify for unemployment? Assuming I don’t qualify right now, right? (I’m in CA)
Recently i got an offer from HCL tech. The scheduled only one round of interview and then HR discussion happened and offered me around 45% from current package. My question is usually for experienced candidates there will be atleast 2 rounds of interview right? So after joining will they put me in bench and i will have to attend interviews there? Pls pour your views
Hi Deloitte TS/S cleared folks! Waiting on the bench for client security processes, read ins, indoc/in-processing negatively impacts utilization. How do we mitigate this @ promotion time?
Smallest team you’ve ever been on? Do you prefer working on larger teams or smaller ones where you may be the only person who knows what to do for a particular role?
Trying to decide exit plan. 3rd yr doing insurance coverage litigation, but not sure if I can spin that into in house or a solo gig that won’t be too much of a pay cut at some point (sole breadwinner with family here). Any ideas or anecdotes to help inspire the next steps?
