Switched to industry a year ago and received annual comp statement...4% raise and 3% bonus LOL. Was a high performer and manager presented it like I was supposed to be happy.

The 3% Conference. Because only 3% of the agencies there are actually committed to change vs just posturing for their social feeds.

Idea: 3% conference, but 97% of the attendees must be men. I’m tired of talking about women’s empowerment to empowered women. Men need to hear the message, not us.

Why 401k at big 4 is below industry? they only match max 1.5% after 1 year of service. do you think norm will be set to 3% in future.

Nice to see that Warren, Bernie, and Harris are all in the 1%. Also nice to see Bernie donates 3% to charity and Beto found 0.5% to give. So generous.

What's your base yearly raise % at your company? Last place only gave 1%. Current place offered 3%. Both agencies within global holding companies. (No bonuses...)

3% raise at end of career evaluation? Should I be looking? The bonus is a similar number. I wondering if they are telling me that I should leave.

I was under the assumption that consulting always had big hikes compared to industry. I see people getting a 3 percent increase annually. what am I missing? all industries get about a 3 percent hike

For those in industry, do you have set raises each year like we do in public? Genuinely curious how it works in industry. Are bonuses better? Do you get the standard 3% each year to base?

What advertising conferences would it be helpful for an entry level professional to invest in going to? SXSW? Ad Week? 3%?

My cousin started working for a firm that has a 3% match along with other benefits but doesn’t want to invest right now. If I pay him the monthly contributions he is willing to let me take benefit...

So fun watching agencies send team after team of bros to SXSW for yet another year. Guess that 3%, D&I, Blah Blah is just for PR.

Has anyone used the “Venmo trick” to extract the value of an Encore? If so, did you do it for the full amount or the full amount/1.03 due to the 3% fee? Curious if it would go through @ full value

Emergency fund currently at ~$5k. Should I continue building my EF to ~$12k before opening IRA, participating in ACN ESPP, etc? Avg monthly expense is ~$4k. 25, SF, 3% 401k contribution. Base $127k.
