I went for 3 interviews with a company met with vp and was given package thinking I aced interview there was another candidate 😞 the other person for the job. The VP calls me to tell me I didn’t get position however he wants me to re apply in new year that something else will be open, and that he wanted to keep a copy of my resume what does this mean ? Should I apply again in new year or don’t bother ?

Aside from just sending applications, how would you recommend getting interviews for PM roles? Does networking or cold calling play a factor here? I have big 4 agile experience that translates well, but not sure how to get started

Recently been reinfected with covid Seems to be rare just wondering if others are retesting positive....I was positive in April went into lungs had it bad...this run seems to be much milder thank goodness Gi upset and lost of taste.

Question to immigrants with parents overseas. Anyone has experience getting their parents approved for tourist visa while immigration petition for parent is pending (I am US citizen, moms case is slowly moving and I desperately need her come visit). She’s had 15+ years on tourist visas but worry we’ll be denied this time due to “immigration case in progress”. Appreciate any tips and anecdotes.

I’ve been interviewing for new positions to leave PA. But in my current position, we’ve been adding quite a few new projects (and our team is partner, two staff, and me) that will probably start over the next couple of months. I don’t think my boss has any idea I’m looking to leave - anything I should do to not feel guilty about potentially leaving them short staffed with a ton of work? Is this something you think about when looking to leave?

Have you ever been asked to fill a role that has such narrow specifications and qualifications that it seems almost impossible to find someone? They are really looking for a unicorn and it isn't easy

So, I just joined a startup. No processes, no clear strategy, just one goal: selling. Getting leads. When ever I try to build a strategy, they (founders) swamp me with blablabla stories and not a single action plan. Is this the usual at startups? Also,no real company culture. At all. No HR. I am reaaaally struggling to get a sense of belonging here. What should I expect?? Tia
