USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI

Best beach weekend getaway in the US?
Hi Fishes, I am a Subcon working at CG and have resigned recently with NP of 30 days. Is it necessary to explain as why I have decided to leave? If yes, will it be okay if I tell them practical reason but it would be a lie ofcourse. By any means, i have no intentions of staying back/receiving conversion or even hike since I have a way better opportunity with an organisation of repute and I don't want to get into any corporate politics. Will it be a problem for me if they find out later?Capgemini

Guidehouse seems to be the strongest of the 3
If you don’t have job, any job should be a good one. Make sure when you interview with each company , make them feel that their company is great. And, you truly demonstrate that both needs each other. And then once you get selected everywhere post this question again.
I just left Grant Thornton and made a move to Guidehouse. I spent 3 years at GT and definitely liked it (good people, helpful environment, hours aren’t too bad). However the strength of the actual business seems to be a bit weak over the past year or so. The first year I got there everything was great but it seemed each year after all the little things like swag freebies, sponsored HH, things that could be expensed, etc became less and less. From what I heard, nobody got any raises or bonuses this year unless it was for a promotion. Managers got a 7% raise across the board (a few years ago it was like 15-20%).
Guidehouse feels like it’s doing better financially (I was able to get a much higher salary at GH). For what it’s worth, they gave me a free backpack/waterbottle/notepad when I started. I really can’t say too much about the environment or culture because everything has been virtual since I’ve started.
One thing I’ll say is that at GT they really stressed utilization (I believe it was 93%) for SA. I think it’s 90% at GH. They also really stress business development/proposals at GT and expect everyone to play a part in them. So far in my time at GH (only like 2 months) I haven’t heard a word about BD. I feel like a lot of people at GH are hired more for their specific roles/to be SMEs rather than to be all around consultants.
Honestly, wouldn't you be the best to judge this by the questions you've been asking them about their org? You have been asking questions, right?
You don’t get the insider information in the form of interview answers. Your interviewers are bound to say the positives. So OP is right in asking the questions here.
