Got laid off on Friday. Not sure how to handle the feelings and emotions. It will feel weird not going to work on Monday. Didn’t even get to say bye to my co workers

I can’t think properly for a brief that wants to join in on the conversation of what’s happening. I feel it’s inappropriate to do so, but my boss expects “creative” ideas from me. If I don’t deliver, I have a feeling I could get fired. How do you deal with this?

I was laid off last summer and can’t seem to land a position. Every rejection cuts me on such a deep level it takes me at least a week to feel normal. Then a job prospect comes along and I feel some sense of hope. I’ve been on this rollercoaster for months and don’t have much support from friends or family. I feel so lonely and unwanted. Not sure what more I can do to find a connection or an opportunity.

SWE with almost 2.5 YOE. I was laid off from my previous job at the end of July and accepted a new position for 115K, no performance or sign on bonus. I am often staffed as PMO on engagements that aren't "projects" per se, just a collection of various day-to-day activities performed by people as part of their "regular" jobs. I am then asked to produce Project Plans, Risk/Issues logs, status updates, etc.
