It's hard sometimes. However, when I was job hunting, I wasn’t seeing much movement either just by applying. What really changed things for me was focusing on networking. I connected with about 200 people on LinkedIn, and that's what finally opened doors. Before giving up, maybe try building more connections in the copywriting and marketing world. A lot of jobs never even get posted publicly.

My advice… yes. Watch some of Scott Galloway’s stuff. Pick something fiercely boring and always in demand and you will never be jobless. Tax Attorney. Accountant. Dentist. You can write for fun whenever you want.

I don’t want to lie to you. It’s gonna be challenging getting work in this field. If you haven’t had any relevant experience in over two years, but if you wanna stay in this field, I recommend looking for freelance gigs. they will be low paying and probably not the most enjoyable however it’ll allow to get relevant experience back on your resume so that you can find a proper job. Good luck to you no matter what you decide.

My neighbor is a bit creepy/lonely (?). He comes over to chat when I’m outside working on the house or doing yard work and doesn’t catch on too well to social cues. He’ll mention small details about my routine or new changes to the house (just moved in). It’s a bit uncomfortable and I’ve had a few awkward moments with him already.
