Hi guys, I am in a process of receiving an offer from my current employer’s US Branch. However, the job is gonna be in a different department (M&A) than the one I worked for here (Audit). Would that be an issue with respect to the L1 visa process? Thanks for the advise.

Anybody hiring for data analytics positions? I just need a first round interview. I am a decent candidate, my last 5 interviews were EY, McK, EY, McK and GS (last round, 1st round, last round, 2nd round, 1st round). Considering taking a position with a small-cap in the US trying to build their legal department. The title is standard “counsel” although the work would be with the senior leadership team and reporting to the GC in Europe. How reasonable is it to ask for a bump in title - Senior counsel or Head of Legal, US? I’m currently discontent with my income.
(3rd year. Salary=80k and no performance incentive. I brought in $1.4mm AFTER partners claimed over half of fees on my big cases.)
I see CJL offers an incentive+ base but I’m curious about that structure.
Any good or bad firm culture to speak of?
Is it impossible to actually earn a respectable incentive bonus?
Am I going to have some partner come cut me out of any cases where I might actually make a solid fee?
