Yearly reviews are coming up. How should we handle conversations about salary when we feel we deserve a higher salary and are trying to grow with our company?

Looking for advice from PR & Marketing leaders, how do you convince senior leadership that PR matters even though efforts don’t always lead to direct sales? We are a small DTC company with a complex product offering. We hired a PR agency about 1.5yrs ago when a big competitor popped up in our industry. I still get questions from number-focused execs about how a feature in The NY Times helps us even though we may not see direct membership/sales spikes within 24hrs.

Waiting to hear about a promotion at my current company. I currently make $55k/year on paper but $70k/year in practice with overtime (averaging about 4 hrs/week). This new role is salaried. I'm thinking of asking for $80k/year but I'm nervous of being laughed out of the room. Does this feel unreasonable?

My firm is virtual - all work done remotely in home office unless on client site. Haven’t traveled since mid October. It’s driving me nuts. What do you recommend doing?

I’m having severe anxiety about my job search. I verbally accepted a job offer. Hours later I got a call from another job I was more interested in with better pay, double vacation time, and double 401k match. They know I accepted something else and were motivated to move quickly. I’m freaking out about potentially backing out of my accepted offer assuming all goes well with this other company.....
