If I didn’t have to take the MPRE previously but looking to waive into DC, when do I need to take the MPRE? Prior to applying or can I apply and submit my score following submission of my application to get the background investigation going?

How many days does BNY Mellon takes to release offer letter post the interview procedure, I was confirmed by HR that I will get a mail with link to upload docs and then offer will be released but still waiting for their mail.

Had a final round at BCG last Friday. After the interviews they said that the would release results today. Then I got an email today saying they will only give the results on the next Friday. What could have happened?? I also know some people how interviewed on the same day as mine and got a rejection email today.

So I finished my 3rd interview with a company and the TA specialist said they loved me but can’t meet me at my bottom line salary, however, I said I can negotiate and she said she’s going to speak with the decision makers and see if they’re okay with that. How long after you start a new job is it appropriate to take a vacation? And for what length of time?

I’m not naive or fresh out of law school, but I’m at a point where I’m saying to myself “Why can’t I have it all?” I’ve been offered a job for more pay and less hours and I keep thinking to myself, what’s the catch? I know people will say no promotion potential or that’s not how it works…but what if it could? What if you make yourself valuable by still setting your boundaries? Why would we resent someone who has that opportunity?
