Follow up etiquette help needed! I am expecting a job offer at firm one next week or so. I am into the final phases at firm two. Would it be appropriate to email my recruiter from firm one that they are my preference but I’m far along in the process at firm two and ask for an update on where I stand (to hopefully get an offer faster)? Or do you prefer to keep the line open with a brief “thanks for thinking of me, I am not interested at this time but hope we can collaborate in the future.”

I’ve been interviewing at an agency with the intention of filling a Director role. Recruitment reached out soon after my last meet-and-greet interview (about 6 to 7 people total) to tell me the team thinks I would be best suited for an Associate Director role with a fast follow of a Director promotion.

Recruitment can’t tell me what feedback is creating this gap but also won’t stop mentioning the positive praise and feedback the team had for me.

I gave a skill test for LTI last week , after that got an email from HR to share my updated CV . No reply afterwards . Does thatmean I have cleared the skill test ? How long it would take for the next round of I clear skill test ?

Can anyone share what happens in this fitment round on interview?
HRs have asked to submit documents even before this fitment round; which seems unusual. Is this normal for UBS and this is how they progress?

First round cleared in november 2021, then HR called after 2 months for second round in Jan 22, now discusses the salary after 2-3 weeks and then again says to get back.
