A positive, professional image as a security guard reflects directly on the company’s brand. It builds trust, shows commitment to safety, and creates a welcoming environment. When guards are approachable and alert, it signals strong leadership and a people-first culture—key traits that attract top talent and boost company reputation.

A professional image does not come from a company. It comes from the officer who has taken pride in the chosen profession. It comes from the PEOPLE who work for said company. Companies are made of people, they are not an entity of themselves.

A professional image can be manufactured, but how will it hold up if the pride isn't something that comes from within the officer. Therefore, company representatives may help in building WHAT the officer does, but the company reps cannot make the officer professional. Only the individual officer can maintain and present the professional image.

Providing uniforms and equipment and giving guidelines of how that equipment should be wornz are vital parts of what entails an officer. But the company doesn't make the officer do the deeds that make the uniform presentable and crisp. What keeps professionalism is when company representatives at the executive level are not micro managing the officers or out right not supporting the officers. This creates resentment and causes some the company's representatives to willingly be jaded.

Hi everyone - We are thinking of changing our wedding photographer after unsatisfactory engagement photos and unsatisfactory communication (unresponsive after multiple attempts). We paid a $450 retainer which we know will be not refundable. However, we are not sure about other liability as we read our contract and found these 2 clauses (in comments). Please advise! Definitely not happy with her and would like to switch to another one but also want to make sure we make the right move. Thanks!

We decided to do a photo session before the wedding for the two of us and family. The photographer and the location were amazing but the makeup was terrible, and because I was low on time, I couldn't fix it before the photos. The makeup artist make me look yellow! Idk if there's anything that could be done at this point, but feeling so disappointed :(

I’m afraid if I fail my public trust, my current firm will find out and fire me for not reporting it on my prior employers.
