What motivates you to leave your house every morning and perform your duty as a police officer?

I am a Chartered accountant and truth be told given the current times CA is a really low incentive education any potent person can get. Today I see engineers barely with a few years of experience earning lakhs per month. Whereas me despite being in the right place at the right time is working hard 10-11 hours each day even today. We as a forebearers of this profession must really rise together

When renting a condo from an owner, I was asked to pay a $150 move-in fee to the building which I thought makes sense, but then I am being told to also pay a $500 non refundable move in fee to the owner but he is not wanting a security deposit. How did you all get your first job in PM? Did you start as a Project Coordinator or PM? I have the skills of a Project Coordinator and would like to just transition to a PM role but it’s been difficult to find junior PM roles.

I currently work as an APM at a FAANG company but recently received an offer to join an MBB. I’m very excited about the role but didn’t realize I’d need to take a pay cut when I applied (~100k base + ~20k bonus + ~60k equity vs. 90k base + 10-20k bonus). Considering that I currently work 40-60 hours/week, I’ll be making significantly less per hour at the MBB. I’m very interested in the opportunity but also don’t want to make a poor financial decision early in my career. Thank you for your time!

Did anyone else here come from a "law enforcement family?" In my family, being a police officer is a tradition. Literally, all the men are involved with law enforcement, and working in this industry has always felt to me like a way to connect with my ancestors.
