There's a ton of self help and leadership books out there to help people in their careers. If there was one that was written front the lense of a public accounting, would you read it?

Depends on who wrote it. If it was run of the mill line partner probably not, I'm not interested in reading about anecdotes from some random person based on their personal experience. But I might consider it if it was a well researched book from a service line leader or similar written in conjunction with an expert on productivity, management, etc.

Like how to manage a team/be a good leader in public accounting? I probably wouldn’t read it as it is too niche to PA and would want something more broad that I can carry with me. That being said I’m sure there are people that would read it ( partners)

I believe improving one’s sales conversion rate is something everyone want to improve but no one wants to admit they would like to work it. Funny how lawyers will spend thousands on seminars to improve trial skills. But this topic is not discussed in our profession. I have read books in sales. But am unable to find any for lawyers. How do you deal with staff that don’t follow instruction? Wrote him an entire easy to understand instruction sheet, the guy comes back asking me to walk him through the instructions.
