It seems like every time I log into LinkedIn the people who are “starting new positions” are people who already had jobs in the first place. I’m honestly ready to just give up. Unemployed for 8 months bc of covid layoff. Like what’s the point when companies see me as less valuable than those that already have jobs. How do you guys hold up? Mine’s the hours, which is not normally my issue. I billed 230 for June and July and am already at 145 for August. For becoming SDE you need DSA and System design but Data scientist position require hell lot of skills. Also it is easier to find a job as SDE .

So I had my NIPT and NT scans last week and I’ve been getting pieces of the results back from my doctor in the patient portal. All seems okay but I’m a bit confused. Does anyone know if FirstScreen is the same thing as NIPT? I was under the impression that NIPT was in 90th percent of certainty for Down syndrome but the result we got, labeled FirstScreen indicate 83% certainty so I’m confused if there are more results coming? I messaged the doctor but haven’t heard back yet.

I was two weeks late for my period and was going to take a pregnancy test this weekend. However this morning I felt cramps and had a little bleeding..... I still have some mild cramps that go in and out. I'm so scared... Would a test be accurate? Could I have miscarried? I did message my doctor but they're closed until next week.

Y’all I just need to vent real quick as my husband is gone for the week several time zones away and I’m alone. This late second trimester heartburn is unreal! I’ve never really had heartburn before but holy shit!
