A question I hear a lot is whether you’re passionate about your job, or if it’s mainly a way to pay the bills? For a lot of people I know, their work is their identity.. but for others it’s just a way to live on. Do you think work has to be a passion to be fulfilling? or is it enough that it supports the life you want outside of it?

Thursday I got it in my head that I needed to hedge against potential Dollar devaluation. I looked at other market funds thinking them to be good proxies for other currencies.

I looked at FXI, there was no option interest so they were super cheap. I figured I pick up a bunch.

Moving from T2 to McKinsey. How do vacation requests work? I have family and friends getting married this fall in weddings delayed because of covid, but I’ll just have started so wanted to get a sense of how realistic taking vacation this fall would be and how to approach taking it (e.g. mention to HR, staffing).
